- Supervise and lead a team of medical device sales representatives providing guidance training and support to achieve sales targets.
- Set individual and team sales goals in alignment with company objectives and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings sales training and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
2. Sales Strategy Implementation:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase the companys market share in the medical device sector.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of territory and account plans for the sales team.
- Collaborate with senior management to align the teams efforts with overall business goals and initiatives.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including hospitals clinics physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Identify and target potential clients understanding their needs and presenting appropriate medical devices to solve their problems.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns and providing postsales support for medical device products.
4. Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest medical devices in the companys portfolio understanding product features benefits and technical specifications.
- Keep abreast of trends in the medical device industry competitor products and healthcare market dynamics.
- Educate the sales team and clients on the clinical and operational benefits of the companys products.
5. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor sales performance providing regular reports on sales metrics forecasts and results to senior management.
- Use CRM software to track sales activities customer interactions and progress toward goals.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement adjustments in strategy and areas where the team can increase efficiency.
6. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that the sales team adheres to all relevant healthcare regulations including FDA CE and local medical device standards.
- Work closely with the regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance in all sales activities.
- Ensure that all product information and claims made during the sales process are compliant with medical and legal standards.
7. Sales Training and Development:
- Conduct ongoing training for the sales team covering product knowledge sales techniques customer service and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor new sales representatives helping them to understand the complexities of medical device sales and supporting their development.
- Provide coaching and feedback to enhance the teams sales skills and product knowledge.
8. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing product development and customer service teams to align sales efforts with product launches promotions and customer needs.
- Provide feedback from the field to the product development team regarding customer preferences and suggestions for new features or products.
- Ensure effective coordination between sales and operational teams for smooth order fulfillment and customer service.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE in asupervisory or senior sales level. Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing.Candidate must have a UAE driving license and own vehicle.
