Our client is a major nationallevel bank located in the United Arab Emirates dedicated to providing exceptional service to its clients and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development for its employees. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Learning and Development Team Lead to join the Human Capital Management team of the bank. This critical role is a permanent onsite role a successful candidate will lead the design development implementation and measuring effectiveness of learning and development programs that align with the banks strategic objectives and support employee growth at all seniority levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of learning and development specialists providing coaching mentoring and performance feedback;
- Conduct learning requirements assessments to identify learning gaps and development opportunities within the bank considering both current and future business requirements as well as regulatory statutory and legal requirements;
- Design develop and implement engaging and effective learning programs using a variety of methodologies including elearning classroom training onthejob training coaching mentoring and simulations. This includes but not limited to learning and development programs related to banking products and services compliance risk management leadership development and technical skills;
- Collaborate with subject matter experts business leaders and HR partners to ensure that learning programs are relevant impactful and aligned with business objectives;
- Oversee the development and adjustment of learning materials including training manuals presentations online courses;
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) content ensuring data accuracy tracking learner progress and generating reports;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through various metrics and KPIs including learner feedback time to complete training and other curriculum knowledge assessments and business impact analysis. Use these data to continuously improve and finetune learning and development programs;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements related to training and development within the banking sector of the United Arab Emirates;
- Manage the learning and development budget effectively;
- Stay uptodate on industry best practices learning technologies and trends in learning and development particularly within the banking industry;
- Manage vendor relationships related to external training programs.
Requirements
A successful candidate for this position should have:
Bachelors degree or a higherlevel degree in Human Resources Education Business Administration or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus;
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Learning and Development with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role preferably within the banking or financial services industry;
Strong understanding of banking regulations compliance and statutory requirements related to training; Proven experience in designing developing and implementing successful learning and development programs and L&D content;
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and elearning tools is a plus;
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization;
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment; Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
