The Land Sport Supervisor is responsible for the management and supervision of landbased sports activities and facilities. This includes overseeing staff ensuring safety and compliance organizing events and enhancing the experience for athletes and participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sports coaches referees and other staff involved in landbased sports.
- Develop and implement training programs and schedules for staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve staff effectiveness.
Facility Management:
- Ensure that sports facilities and equipment are maintained in good condition and are compliant with safety standards.
- Oversee the setup and teardown of sports events and activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any facilityrelated issues promptly.
Safety and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for all sports activities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Address any safety concerns or incidents that arise and report them as required.
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Organize and manage sports events tournaments and competitions.
- Coordinate logistics such as scheduling equipment setup and participant registration.
- Collaborate with other departments or organizations as needed to ensure successful events.
Participant and Member Services:
- Provide excellent customer service to participants including addressing inquiries resolving issues and gathering feedback.
- Develop and implement programs and activities that enhance participant engagement and satisfaction.
- Monitor participant feedback and make adjustments to improve the overall experience.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records related to facility usage staff schedules and event outcomes.
- Prepare reports on sports activities facility conditions and staff performance for management review.
- Manage budgets related to sports programs and facilities including tracking expenses and making recommendations for cost control.
Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelors degree in Sports Management Recreation Physical Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in sports management or supervision with a background in landbased sports preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for landbased sports.
- Proficient in administrative tasks and budget management.
