Job Summary:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure the timely costeffective and efficient sourcing of goods and services. This role involves vendor management negotiating contracts ensuring compliance with procurement policies and monitoring inventory levels. The Procurement Officer will work closely with internal departments to meet the organizations needs while maintaining high ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Identify evaluate and establish relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts prices and terms with vendors to achieve favorable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.
- Maintain a supplier database and update it regularly.
- Procurement Process Management:
- Prepare purchase orders requisitions and tender documents in accordance with company policies.
- Analyze purchasing needs and forecasts to plan and manage procurement activities.
- Manage the procurement process from request to payment ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Cost Control and Budget Management:
- Monitor procurement expenses ensuring costeffective purchasing while maintaining quality.
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting related to procurement.
- Implement costsaving strategies without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
- Prepare and submit procurement reports and updates to management.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Coordinate with relevant departments to manage inventory levels and avoid stockouts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and stock control.
- Risk Management:
- Identify risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure contracts and purchases adhere to risk management guidelines.
- ICV
- Strong understanding of ICV principles strategies and requirements particularly in local content regulations and governmentdriven initiatives.
- Ensure procurement activities align with the companys ICV goals and contribute to the economic value within the country by prioritizing local suppliers contractors and workforce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven 10 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g. ERP systems).
- Strong negotiation analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in procurement (e.g. Certified Professional in Supply Management CPSM or CIPS certification).
- Experience in managing procurement for largescale projects or multiple categories.
- Knowledge of international procurement processes and regulations (if applicable).

Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: AED8000.00 AED10000.00 per month
