Backend Engineer - G42

Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain C applications that can be highvolume and lowlatency
• Interpreting briefs to create highquality coding that functions according to specifications.
• Determining application functions and building objectives with the team.
• Ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives.
• Experience in handling external and embedded databases Mongo MySQL PostgreSQL
• Experience in Kafka and Elastic Search
• Skilled at creating database schemas that characterize and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Indepth knowledge of code versioning tools for instance Git
• Understanding basic design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding of microservice design and architectural patterns
• Implement design patterns for distributed systems
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments
• Maintenance of Docker/Container clusters
• Familiar with complex event processing and eventdriven architecture
• Problem solving with other team members in the project.
• Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications.
• Drafting detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed.
• Participating in group meetings to discuss projects and objectives.
• Assisting other developers with troubleshooting debugging and coding.
• Meeting deadlines on fastpaced deliverables.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer sciences coding or a related field.
• At least 5 years experience in C based programming.
• Significant coding skills in C with other languages being a major plus.
• Exceptional problemsolving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of current frameworks SDKs APIs and libraries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good organizational and timemanagement skills.
• A strong portfolio of topclass coding and builds to your name.
• Ability to work with other developers and assist junior team members.
