Main Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers providing excellent customer service.
  
• Assist customers in selecting products offering suggestions based on their needs and preferences.
  
• Maintain the display and arrangement of products in an attractive manner.
  
• Handle inquiries regarding product details pricing and availability.
  
• Process transactions and handle cash or credit payments accurately.
  
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness.
  
• Ensure adherence to the store s policies and procedures.
  
• Handle any customer complaints or issues professionally escalating them to the supervisor when necessary.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Prior experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not required.
  

Skills Required:

• Ability to interact with customers in a polite friendly and helpful manner.
  
• Ability to stand for long hours and handle physical tasks like lifting or moving products.
  
• Clear and effective communication both verbal and written.
  
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others to achieve common goals.
  
• Familiarity with the types of products sold in supermarkets and the ability to assist customers with inquiries.
