Position Title: Data Architect
Location: Dubai
Job Type: Fulltime
Experience: 8
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining our data architecture to ensure optimal performance security and scalability.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain data models ensuring data integrity reliability and performance.
Develop and enforce data standards and best practices.
Create and maintain documentation for database schemas data flows and processes.
Oversee database management activities including data migration replication and backup.
Optimize database performance and ensure data availability and security.
Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools.
Design and implement data integration processes to connect disparate systems.
Collaborate with BI developer/Data Engineers to ensure smooth data extraction transformation and loading.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers analysts and business stakeholders.
Communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and database management systems (e.g. SQL Server Oracle MongoDB).
Experience with ETL processes and tools.
Solid understanding of data governance security and compliance.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in data architecture or related fields.
Experience with cloudbased data solutions (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
