Project Manager

In this role as the Project Manager in the Regional Application Center (RAC), MEA, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery projects of Electrical and Automation equipment for strategic & complex projects especially in the Gulf (UAE) region.

Essential Duties

• Having the "Safety Always" mentality
• Be the single point of contact for the client while applying the "Customer First" mentality
• Leading the project team including Project Engineers, Technical/Engineering Team, Cost Controlling Team, Contract Management, Logistics, Legal, etc.
• Execute the projects according to the agreed contract terms.
• Abide by SE's internal Customer Project Process (CPP) for Project Execution.
• Be responsible for the P&L of the project and protect/improve the project's profit margins.
• Conduct monthly project review meetings with the management.
• Strong follow-up with suppliers and partners where applicable.
• Reporting to management monthly forecast figures.
• Risk Management and Risk Register handling.
• Constant stakeholder management.
• Safeguard Schneider Electric's interest at all times.
• Adhere to Schneider Electric's internal core values: IMPACT.
• Diversity: Daily dealing with colleagues with multiple nationalities from all over the world
  
  

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

Qualifications

• Fluent English (oral and written).
• 5 to 7 Years of Experience in Project Management, preferably in Projects related to Delivery/Supply/Commissioning of Electrical Switchgears, Automation Panels etc.
• Strong Personality is mandatory.
• Knowledge about High-Voltage (HV) and Low-Voltage (LV) Electrical Equipment is a big bonus.
• Risk and Communications Management skills mandatory.
• Being a Team Player is a must.
