A major global brand is seeking a Head of Buying to lead their womenswear category (200million USD turnover). The role will suit someone who has had experience in this category preferably within large format commercial high street retail and is willing to explore an emerging market.

• Lead the entire category from a product strategy point of view
  
• Be responsible for all key commercial deliverables such as margins turnover costs lead time etc
  
• Be the brand ambassador for this category to all key stakeholders such as vendors
  
• design teams marketing visual retail and the Board.
  
• Manage your budgets P&L and OTB
  
• Build a high performing team and mentor them
  
• Build key strategic relationships with vendors and command loyalty through
  
• effective supplier management models
  
• Set benchmarks in quality ethics and excellence in product
  
• Lead turnaround /turn key projects such as revamping the brand image or
  
• perception of a certain category/brand
