Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical installation activities on construction sites.
• Review mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with local codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of mechanical systems.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify adherence to design intent and specifications.
• Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance project performance.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documents, and construction schedules.
• Monitor budgetary constraints and recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development within the team.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in mechanical engineering, with a focus on site operations and construction projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards in the UAE.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
