Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading developer in Abu Dhabi UAE. Our client is looking for a seasoned Legal Manager to oversee a broad range of legal and compliance issues related to real estate. The role encompasses property sales and purchases leasing licensing owners associations asset and facilities management as well as development and construction. Additionally the Legal Manager will handle various general legal matters including contract negotiation and drafting litigation support compliance and policy advisement employment and intellectual property concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Counsel and the legal team with daily legal operations with a strong focus on real estate issues.
Drafting analyzing and negotiating contracts leases licenses and other legal documents.
Liaising with government regulators for company formations trademark registrations and ensuring legal compliance
Supporting efforts in alternative dispute resolution litigation and settlements
Obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and permits for our client and its subsidiaries.
Assisting external counsel with preparing legal briefs and pleadings.
Providing legal guidance and policy insights to the management and business units as instructed by the General Counsel.
Representing the legal department in committees at the General Counsels direction.
Identifying potential legal risks and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
Developing and delivering training sessions on legal templates for internal stakeholders.
Mentoring and training junior members of the legal team.
Taking on any other legal tasks or duties assigned by the General Counsel.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Law and Bar membership.
58 years of legal experience in a law firm or within a developmentfocused company.
Prior experience in a reputable international law firm or a comparable organization is crucial.
Excellent verbal written and presentation skills in English are essential; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
