General Nurse

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and assist with patient therapies as directed by physicians
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, such as collecting samples and conducting screenings
• Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
• Educate patients and families about medication, treatments, and self-care techniques
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control protocols
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical care as needed
  

Requirements

• Valid nursing license and registration
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Proven experience as a General Nurse in a healthcare setting
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to stay up-to-date with new advancements in nursing techniques and practices
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
