Description : Director of Finance - USA

Our CLIENT is the North American operation of a European market leader in e-mobility.

The US operation is currently set up and includes the functions: C-suite USA; operations with multi-vendor EMS manufacturing; supply chain management, marketing (strategic, product, marcom), sales, service, and tech support.

Hiring and training of new employees has started at a rate of 5-10 people per month. The USA operation based on existing large customer relations is planned to move beyond $100M in revenue in a few quarters post manufacturing readiness which is expected to be between Q4-22 and Q1-23.

Position Information: Our client is looking for a Director of Finance for their US operations.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities.

• Assisting the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer to develop and execute business plans.
• Developing plans and budgets in an environment of rapid rate change and growth.
• Develop and execute the company s financial strategy in the USA.
• Manage financial performance and budgets.
• Manage bookkeeping, accounting, and tax functions.
• Compliance with regulations in USA.
• Manage contract review process on behalf or with CEO and legal.
• Leading the implementation of an ERP/MRP system.
• Implementation and management of monthly reporting system.
• Identifying areas for company expansion and opportunities.
• Advisor and partner to the US and European management team.
• Integral and dedicated partner within the global management team.

• Strong experience and background in finance and related functions.
• Global experience, ideally with Europe.
• Decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team members.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Strong written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Location:

Our client is currently in the location selection process. The company will likely have multiple service locations in the USA however their main headquarter offices will be in Charlotte North Carolina. This is an onsite position.

Reports to:

This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer USA and / or the Chief Operations Officer USA with reporting responsibilities to the European Corporate Leadership.

Compensation:

The yearly compensation is approximately $160,000, depending on experience plus bonus consideration for working with European companies.
