IT Network Technician

Our client an international construction firm is currently looking for IT Network Technician to be based in the Western Region Abu Dhabi. The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Configure and install network L2 L3 switches

Manage firewalls load balancers VPN devices

Monitor performance and ensure current configured network s availability and reliability

Provide Level2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

Requirements

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:

University degree in Computer Science or a related subject

5 years experience in IT networking field.

Proven handson network engineering experience (at least more than 2 years in the same role)

Very familiar with L2 and L3 Switch s configuration changing

Highly experienced with vlan and routing control

CCNA or higher (CCNP) certification required

Handson experience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analytics tools
