• Assistthe Assistant Manager/ Manager and the team, in purchasing products andservices of superior quality for the hotel as per specification.
• Manageand process purchase requests on receipt ensuring competitive quotations,delivery dates and specifications are obtained
• Updateall concerned departments and line managers with any problems related to thepurchase order /contracts and implement corrective action as required.
• Administerthe timeliness of the ordering process i.e. from material requisition to orderplacement, to minimize lead time, systematically monitor the compliance of theorder terms by suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Providesupport service to all departments to arrange materials & services, supportthe team on event management, logistics etc.
• Periodicsite visit to monitor work progress and performance measurement of supplier andcontractors.
• Closelymonitor all the suppliers, liaise and develop relationships with vendors andbusiness partners to form effective cooperation.
