Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Set up and ensure all accounting and operations for the Groceries vertical are operating effectively
• Proactively establish collaborations with the Supply Chain and Store Operations teams in each market to ensure controls are in place to avoid any inventory related exposure
• Lead and liaison with accounting with respect to Groceries vertical to ensure data integrity, completeness, accuracy and reconciliations with source and ledgers
• Deliver periodic financials with the required proofing as per financial calendar and statutory requirements
• Support the financial audits and support tax team in their financials information needs
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
What you'll need We're looking for someone with an amazing understanding of inventory accounting management who can help us build financial and accounting processes from the ground up.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CMA) with a working experience of at least 5 years with in similar roles
• Proven track of stakeholder management and ensuring key deliverables within time
• Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments is a plus
• Knowledge in Oracle accounting software is a plus
• Good technical proficiency coupled with analytical skills
