Design Solution Manager

Responsibilities:
• Provide detailed assistance to clients during the selection process of fabrics, color palettes, window treatments, lighting, carpets, floor tiles, artwork, paint, wallpaper and accessories through product samples or mood boards
• Drive business sales and profitability through offer of design services at Home Centre and ensuring achievement of sales goals
• Responsible for Performance Management of Store Design Team through timely KPI setting, mid-year and annual performance reviews
• Drive engagement and motivation in the team through prompt resolution of work-related issues and grievances
• Ensure successful implementation of the Design Services strategy across the UAE territory
• Proactively attend networking events and meetings for new business development and sales
• Ensure customer commitments are met on time through follow-ups on purchases/orders/deliveries and addressing issues (if any)
• Responsible for building and maintaining good relationship with clients which includes regular customers, interior designers, architects, contractors, and other service providers
• Provide on the job coaching to the VM Designers to raise professionalism of the design services
• Create profitable and well-informed business proposals for presentation to clients while ensuring compliance with company guidelines
• Design living/ dining/ playing/ sleeping solutions and styles for clients through usage of design styles and delivery methods which are best suited to the client requirements
• Ensure all client design specifications are duly met through follow up communication, home visits and customer feedback on the service provided
• Lead and execute end-to-end design projects with the store designers as per committed timelines
• Develop ideas and acquire necessary information on potential projects through detailed requirement briefs from the clients and designing project schedules accordingly
• Ensure all Personal development plans and trainings for the Design team are duly completed
