Brief Outline
An industry leading company in the architectural metalwork market requires a Production Manager to oversee projects from their Dubai workshop on a permanent basis, with accommodation and expenses paid.
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project portfolio they are assigned to, ensuring schedules are followed and quality is ensured.
The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the companies projects and its overall progress in the future.

The client has been active in the architectural metalwork sector for over 20 years with an established client base and consistent work across the Middle East region.
About the Role
Liaise with the General Manager to ascertain weekly requirements / changes.
Liaise with material suppliers, specialist fabricators, finishers
Material & Specialist supplier purchase orders incl. in line with company buying policy; comparative quotes, negotiationetc.
Attend production meeting with General Manager and other Group company management staff to provide update of all jobs / delivery schedules etc.
Attend monthly Health & Safety committee meetings
Assign jobs to workshop labour and insure a clear understanding of requirements is passed on.
Assist with on going training and development of Metalwork staff, undertake training and inductions for production staff on new machinery
Ensure correct operation and maintenance of all workshop machinery with strict compliance to Health & Safety regulations.
Ensure works are completed within set timescales and delivery dates are met.
Ensure time sheets are accurately completed, collected weekly and signed off.
Quality management, ensuring manufactured items are produced within the specification and to an expected quality level including finishing works (spray-shop)
Direct communication / meetings with clients to resolve specific queries and details
Continuously identify and forward ideas that will improve efficiencies.
Undertake interviews for production staff candidates.

Previous experience in architectural metalwork production management
