As an Assistant Accountant you will supports the accounting team by performing various bookkeeping and clerical tasks ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities-
Bookkeeping and Record Keeping: Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial documents such as invoices bills and purchase orders and assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
Payroll Management: Manage payroll activities ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
Account Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and verify account balances to rectify discrepancies in financial records.
Collaboration: Work closely with financial managers and other team members to execute various accounting tasks and support the overall financial operations of the organization.
Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry filing and managing expense reports and reimbursements
Heres what youll need-
Educational Background: A degree in accounting finance or a related field is often preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Excel) and strong computer skills.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in financial records and reports.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
