Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

Job purpose

This is a front-office client-facing role focused primarily related to sourcing new clients in Central Asia & The Middle East and managing existing relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties

  • Develop a portfolio of gold producing clients mines refineries Govt institutions etc in Central Asia
  • Develop StoneX Bullion and Market the products in the Middle East
  • Market existing products and services to these clients
  • Manage incoming customer trades both physical and if appropriate financial
  • Maintain key supplier relationships including but not limited to traders refiners and mines
  • Support established business as necessary including but not limited to inventory management daily liquidity etc.
  • Support expansion of the business model into new markets
  • Travel as required this role will require extensive travel in Central Asia and the Middle East.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and Experience

- Extensive experience in a precious metals role
- If required by management passing relevant FCA exams
- Knowledge of hedging as applied and required by a precious metals business
- Have established relationships with relevant market players including customers and suppliers
- Knowledge of key markets in the region products and prevailing prices
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) English & Russian Essential
- Keen to generate new business ideas
- Effective planning organisation and time management skills
- Commercial awareness
