Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to oversee the civil engineering aspects of a largescale energy project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design construction and management of civil infrastructure for oil and gas facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the civil engineering design and construction of raw gas gathering and compression facilities gas processing facilities storage tanks export terminals and pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with all relevant standards codes and regulations.
- Oversee site preparation foundation works structural designs and other civil engineering components.
- Collaborate with project managers contractors and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of civil works with overall project objectives.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and resolve any technical issues.
- Prepare and review project documentation including engineering drawings reports and specifications.
- Manage resources schedules and budgets to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of civil engineering tasks.
- Implement and enforce safety and quality standards across all civil engineering activities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on oil and gas infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and equipment used in largescale projects.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.
- Excellent problemsolving communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with BOOT (BuildOwnOperateTransfer) contract models is a plus.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
