Job Profile: Chief Product Officer (CPO) Automotive Products and Accessories

Location: Based In Dubai UAE (with coordination with engineering teams in the Middle East) Chinese or Any European National

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Chief Product Officer (CPO) ( Male / Female) specializing in automotive products and accessories fully responsible for the complete product cycle.. This role will focus on understanding the requirements of OEM clients ensuring seamless communication between clients and engineering teams based in the Middle East and guaranteeing that the product is delivered according to the client s specifications. The ideal candidate must have done Masters in Automobile Engineering or Masters in Mechanical Engineering Technical and design understanding of automotive electronics body exterior and interior . Experienced to connect the styling design function to the engineering and DV / PV validation.

Candidate must have multi national work experience either with OEM or Tier 1 for 1015 years. Must have excellent communication skills clear thought process and positive personality. Must possess a strong network within the automotive OEM industry in India and abroad.

The CPO will may or may not manage the complete product development process but will serve as a critical liaison between the product requirements and the styling / design / engineering team ensuring that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Must be familiar with the OEMs product development from proof of concept to Design and Process Validation till SOP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Requirement Understanding: Liaise with OEM clients to understand product requirements challenges and expectations ensuring that these are clearly communicated to the engineering teams.
  • Product Coordination: Work closely with engineering teams in the Middle East to ensure alignment with the client s requirements.
  • Technical Knowledge: Use expertise in automotive engineering to evaluate and assess product specifications ensuring they are feasible and practical within the clients expectations and engineering capabilities.
  • OEM Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with OEMs ensuring open communication channels resolving any concerns and managing feedback loops.
  • Project Management & CrossFunctional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams including product managers engineering and R&D departments ensuring effective communication and problemsolving. in the product development lifecycle.
  • Quality and Compliance Assurance: Ensure that products are developed according to the agreedupon technical specifications regulatory standards and quality benchmarks acting as a bridge between the client and the engineering teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure proper documentation of product specifications requirements and progress reports for stakeholders ensuring alignment throughout the development cycle.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Master s degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute in India or Europe. Basic understanding of Electronics is necessary.
  • Experience: Minimum 1015 years of experience in Multinational OEM s or Tier1 related to automotive product development.
  • Crossborder Coordination: Experience working with offshore or geographically dispersed engineering teams (e.g. teams in the India Middle East or other regions).
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of automotive engineering principles product specifications electronic / electrical Auto components and the ability to translate client requirements into actionable technical deliverables. Process oriented approach.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of managing expectations between OEM clients and engineering teams.
  • ProblemSolving and DecisionMaking: Ability to quickly address and resolve productrelated challenges with a focus on client satisfaction and quality.
  • CustomerCentric Mindset: Ability to prioritize customer needs and ensure that the final product meets or exceeds client expectations.

Reporting Line:

  • The CPO will report directly to the General Manager in Dubai and will work closely with the DGM Sales and Marketing Business development In India.
