About the department
aberdeen is a global investment company that helps clients and customers plan save and invest for the future. We manage and administer 506bn AUMA 30 June 2024.
aberdeen covers its Middle East & African clients from its regional office in Abu Dhabi which is where this role is based.
About the role
As the Director of Business Development you will get the opportunity to be responsible for maintaining and expanding aberdeens presence in the Middle East & Africa region. This includes strengthening existing client relationships developing new opportunities and driving strategic initiatives to achieve growth.
Within this role you will be building and managing a number of aberdeens client relationships in Kuwait and across the Middle East & Africa region.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Develop a deep understanding of aberdeens investment products to effectively engage a diverse client base and showcase aberdeens investment capabilities.
Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives that align with regional and organizational goals
Client Relationship Management
Serve as a trusted advisor matching client investment needs with tailored propositions and product offerings.
Develop long term partnerships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and enhance retention
Oversee the management of relationships with key clients to support business growth and achieve targeted outcomes.
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement strategies to secure new growth opportunities.
Prepare specific business plans for Kuwait and proposals aimed at maximizing growth.
About the candidate requirements
Knowledge of the Kuwait investment landscape
Experience of developing and implementing strategies to secure new growth opportunities
Experience of developing long term partnerships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and enhance retention
Ability to provide accurate and actionable management reporting for internal stakeholders
