The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. Role Description:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel ensuring accurate financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance with financial regulations. This is a critical role that supports executive decision making through strategic financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the hotels budget forecast and financial plans
Monitor financial performance and prepare monthly quarterly and annual reports
Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax laws and internal policies
Manage cash flow cost control and profitability
Supervise finance including accounts payable/receivable payroll and audit functions
Liaise with external auditors banks and regulatory bodies
Advise management on financial implications of operational decisions
Implement financial controls and systems to safeguard hotel assets
Collaborate with department heads to optimize revenue and minimize expenses
Qualifications:
o Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in hospitality is a must.
o Proven expertise of hotel accounting systems
o Excellent analytical leadership and communication skills
o High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft office software
o in depth knowledge of accounting principles audit coordination and risk management
o Extensive negotiation and stake holder management experience
o Strong leadership skills and attention to detail
