We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie specializing in Indian cuisine to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes maintaining highquality standards and contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
- Prepare and cook a variety of India dishes ensuring authenticity and quality
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen overseeing junior staff and daily operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning and development of new Indian dishes
- Collaborate with other chefs to maintain kitchen efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your station
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cuisine techniques
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highvolume kitchen environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Food safety certification.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English.
