Our Guidehouse Energy Providers practice is collaborating with leaders in energy and utility clients to successfully navigate the energy transition. We work across value chains creating decarbonisation strategies and help drive forward solutions like smart grids mobility demand response/flexibility energy and water efficiency utility digitalization green gases and hydrogen CCUS and the related infrastructure.

What You Will Do
As a Consultant at Guidehouse you will be working in a team advising our clients on how they can best navigate the challenges and opportunities associated with the energy transition.
Projects may cover topics such as decarbonisation pathways for transport industry and cooling electricity network innovation flexibility markets netzero business model opportunities network asset managementand demand side management solutions.
Perform industry research engage internal and external stakeholders prepare client deliverables and present findings to your project team and clients.
Synthesise data into clear analyses and provide factbased recommendations and solutions for drafting summary reports and presentations.
Support the development of plans to implement the recommendations and solutions proposed.
Support the development of client proposals and other business development activities.
You Are

Able to show a working knowledge of data collection organisational and analytical skills.

What You Will Need
Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g. engineering energy economics mathematics international business physical sciences etc..
0 3 years of working experience in related fields.
A strong curiosity and/or experience in a relevant industry topic such as: power systems renewable energy integration flexibility markets electricity transmission & distribution planning and operations energy efficiency sustainability how gas systems work gas/hydrogen/CO2 networks infrastructure offtakers and suppliers.
Experienced with Microsoft products especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with other analytics tools a plus.
A teamplayer who is willing and can work effectively in diverse teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
Ability to work fluently in English (written and spoken).
What Would Be Nice To Have
Relevant Masters degree (e.g. engineering energy economics mathematics international businessphysical sciences etc..
Ability to work fluently in Arabic (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel internationally.
