Vice President of Education and Engagement - Museum

A new role has come with a well-known museum in the GCC. This is a senior level position that would provide leadership in all aspects of the museum’s educational programs, cultural programs, collections, stakeholder relations, and fundraising. It is key that the candidate has experience in providing strategic direction to attain long-term goals aligned with the museum’s mission, vision, and financial targets. This position requires someone with strong people management skills responsible for the development, engagement, and performance management of four departments consisting of at least 30 employees.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Candidate must have a minimum total of 11 years of experience, of which at least 8 years of museum experience
• Knowledge of Middle East culture is a must
• Experience in direct interactions with government authorities, high-profile, and VIP officials
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields History/Art History/Museum Education/Business/Psychology or related
