Shelf Boy

Black & Grey HR is hiring for an upcoming FMCG store in Abu Dhabi and our client is looking for Shelf boys who will be responsible for filling shelfs, cleaning and arrangements.

- Unload merchandise.

- Mark items with identifying codes, such as price, stock, or inventory control codes.

- Stock shelves with unpacked items.

- Ensure label is clear and visible.

- Complete customers mail, Web, and phone orders by retrieving the ordered merchandise.

- Compute price of merchandise.

- Keep records of sale.

- Prepare merchandise for shipment.

- Replenish inventory.

- Ensure customer received product.

- Replace damaged or missing products.

- Operate forklift to lift or place merchandise.

- Work with salespeople on inventory and orders.

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in area of responsibility

- Must be able to do simple mathematical calculations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and computing percentages and ratios

- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads of 75 pounds in a physical environment

- Must be able to work 100% of the time moving about in the work area

- Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching

- Previous experience in receiving, handling, and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred
