Director Sea Logistics

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our Sea Logistics team in UAE & Oman

.Your RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running and development of sea freight import and export activities within UAE and Oman in order to increase market share and maximize profitability

.Your ResponsibilitiesManage and develop the strategic and operational sea logistics business

Participate in budget preparation and constantly monitor individual sea logistics business unit’s performance against targetsSet up an efficient cooperation method with carriers for the regular monitoring and controlling of container detention and its timely settlement with carriers and customers

Oversee workload to ensure adequate resources are available to secure that procedures are carried out in line with corporate standards

Present proposals concerning organization flow and cost optimizationMaintain high standards of customer care and securing that the customers are professionally served within all relevant sea logistics branches

Your Skills and ExperiencesBachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar disciplineMinimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding industry, specifically in Sea Logistic

sMinimum 3 years’ of leadership experience is mandatoryExcellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skillsFluency in English language is mandatory. Arabic would be considered as an added advantage
