Senior Engineer – Security

Job Description

• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems and networks • Troubleshooting security and network problems • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches • Installing & configuring of Cisco / Fortinet / Juniper / Palo Alto / Check Point and other network security solutions • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network/security related issues • Preparing technical proposal including the architecture diagram • Prepare project completion documentation • Any other additional tasks the line manger may give and is within the scope of work

Desired Candidate Profile

This position will have primary responsibility for security platforms in the production environment, as well as development, quality-assurance and staging environments Qualifications • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Telecom or a related discipline Experience • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience • Hands on experience in network security solutions, Cisco ASA and FTD, Fortinet, Palo-alto, Checkpoint, F5 LTM, GTM and ASM and Huawei Firewalls • Good hands on experience in Cisco ISE and Aruba NAC, Cisco Iron-port or other Email / Web security products Certifications • CCIE in Security or equivalent certification with IT Security experience • Technical certifications for Cisco / Fortinet/ F5/ Huawei / Palo Alto, checkpoint and other security products Knowledge & Skills • Knowledge / Certifications of Cloud Security solutions is a must • Good knowledge in systems, routing and switching • Penetration testing, Security Auditing knowledge
