What do we expect from you
Mondrian Abu Dhabi is preparing for an exciting opening and we are looking for an experienced Manager People & Culture to help build and shape the organizational culture during the preopening phase. In this key role you will support the Director of People & Culture in developing and maintaining an exceptional workplace environment focusing on talent acquisition employee engagement training and performance management. Youll work closely with team members to ensure that Mondrian Abu Dhabi cultivates a thriving culture that aligns with our brand values while fostering employee satisfaction and engagement.
How your day looks like:
- Assist in the recruitment process to ensure the selection of top talent that embodies Mondrians culture and values.
- Support the onboarding process and ensure new hires have an exceptional experience from day one.
- Help develop and implement training programs that empower employees to provide excellent service while enhancing their career growth.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that foster job satisfaction and promote a positive working environment.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support the alignment of HR strategies with the hotels objectives.
- Manage daytoday employee relations and provide guidance to ensure a supportive and motivating workplace.
- Assist in the administration of performance management processes to drive personal and organizational development.
- Maintain and oversee employee recognition programs fostering a culture of appreciation and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies while promoting a fair and equitable work environment.
- Support leadership in the development of initiatives that promote a diverse inclusive and innovative workplace.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. A strategic mindset and the ability to translate business needs into actionable peoplerelated strategies. A passion for building a positive highperformance culture that supports both employee satisfaction and the businesss success.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in People & Culture or HR management with at least 3 years in a Managerlevel role ideally in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
- Experience working in a truly global work environment is essential.
- Prior preopening experience is highly preferred and scaling a team in a highprofile hotel setting.
- Familiarity with HR systems and performance management tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and best practices in employee relations.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to address employee concerns and operational challenges in a professional manner.
