- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes ensuring consistency and quality.
- Work under the direction of the Chef de Partie and Head Chef to ensure smooth service and kitchen operations.
- Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen helping to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Follow all recipes procedures and presentation standards to ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
- Ensure that all food is stored and handled in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Contribute to menu planning and food preparation for special events or promotions.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels for your section.
- Previous experience in a similar role with a luxury hotel or professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a teamoriented attitude.
- Passionate about cooking and eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications :
- 23 years in a similar role in a medium to large hotel.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred.
- Hospitality School Certificate is preferred
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications an asset
