Lead PACO Engineer

Job Summary:

Providing technical assurance of Field Instrumentation and Process Automation designs by applying appropriate technical standards and specifications.
Ensuring schedule and cost considerations are included in design decisions while prioritizing safe and highquality designs.
Aligning instrumentation and Process Automation Engineering activities with the companys Project Delivery Roadmap and Opportunity Realization Process.
Delivery of the instrumentation and Process Automation equipment engineering scope for assigned projects.
Acting as a lead engineer with responsibilities for all engineering deliverables.
Driving technical assurance for engineering and delivery of Instruments & Control related activities.
Participating in engineering reviews witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests and participating in safety and quality audits and field reviews.
Driving installation quality by working with Construction contractor and Construction team.
Ensuring compliance with the latest company and Industry standards.
Auditing construction field activities for compliance and assisting in resolution of field nonconformance issues.
Designing and developing innovative technical approaches to broader process engineering issues.
Providing instrumentation and Process Automation equipment engineering support and delivery for minor base medium and large projects.
Accountability for Instruments & Control engineering deliverables and engineering execution planning support.
Proactively working with the Engineering Manager to keep projects on track.
Demonstrating mastery knowledge of recognized international and IOGP standards including JIP33.
Managing team workflow to ensure all priorities of the company are met.

Requirements:

BSc. University degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
Able to effectively communicate technical issues.
Minimum 15 years experience in Oil and Gas related Instrumentation and Process Control mechanical Design and Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of construction and commissioning activities.
Experience with testing installation commissioning and startup of Instrument and Process Automation equipment.
Experience with DCS IPS systems and field instruments.
Experience with HAZOP IPF classification processes onshore experience awareness of the ISO standards.
Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Project Delivery as a Lead engineer in a multidiscipline Workforce.
Experience in the Middle East Gas processing and Utilities are advantageous.
Proven leadership skills and strong personal drive.
Strong commitment to HSSE Leadership and experience in managing HSSE throughout all project phases.
Experience in project management.
Ability to work and manage in a multicultural environment.
Adherence to the Health Safety Sustainability Environment and Quality rules of the company its clients and the host country.
