Dhofar Global Tr Co LLC is a leading distribution and logistics company based in Dubai UAE. We specialize in providing highquality products and services to our clients across the Middle East. Our company is committed to excellence and continuous growth and we are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to oversee our companys purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures as well as excellent negotiation and communication skills. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services negotiating contracts and maintaining supplier relationships while ensuring costeffectiveness and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the companys objectives
Source and purchase goods and services ensuring costeffectiveness and quality
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible prices and terms
Maintain supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on new products and services
Prepare and maintain procurement documents including purchase orders contracts and vendor agreements
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of items as needed
Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide assistance in sourcing and purchasing
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as legal and ethical standards
Identify costsaving opportunities and implement costsaving initiatives
Keep accurate records of all procurement activities and maintain a database of suppliers

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
Minimum of 36years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to procurement
Fluency in English is a must Arabic is a plus
