What you will be doing:
- Oversee daily preparation and presentation of cold kitchen items including salads appetizers and other chilled dishes ensuring topnotch quality and consistency.
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in designing creative and visually appealing cold menu items adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards ensuring the cold kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Support and mentor junior team members guiding them to develop their skills and maintain high standards.
- Monitor stock levels for cold kitchen ingredients and ensure proper storage to maintain freshness and quality.
Qualifications :
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a cold kitchen or similar role in a highvolume luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of cold food preparation plating techniques and food safety practices.
- Creative flair and attention to detail with a passion for crafting dishes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced kitchen
