Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Admin Assistant to join our team at a construction site in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role preferably in the construction industry. This is a fulltime position with a 1year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the construction site team including project managers engineers and other staff members
- Maintain and update project documentation including contracts permits and drawings
- Prepare and distribute projectrelated correspondence such as meeting agendas and minutes
- Coordinate and schedule meetings appointments and site visits
- Monitor and track project progress and deadlines
- Assist with procurement activities including obtaining quotes and processing purchase orders
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain and organize project files and records
- Prepare and submit expense reports
- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the project manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant preferably in the construction industry
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of procurement processes is an advantage
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
