Job Summary:

We are looking for a Process/Technical Safety Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi UAE. This role is open to UAE Nationals with a Chemical Engineering degree and 02 years of experience. The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of process safety measures to ensure safe and efficient operations in the oil & gas petrochemical or industrial sectors. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates to gain handson experience in safety engineering and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying evaluating and mitigating process safety risks.
• Support the development and implementation of safety management systems hazard identification (HAZID) and risk assessments.
• Participate in HAZOP LOPA and SIL studies under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Support incident investigations root cause analysis and safety audits.
• Assist in developing and reviewing safety policies procedures and technical documentation.
• Work closely with operations maintenance and engineering teams to enhance process safety.
• Stay updated on international safety standards and best practices (e.g. OSHA API NFPA).

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 02 years of experience in process/technical safety (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of process safety regulations risk assessment techniques and hazard analysis.
• Familiarity with process safety tools (PHA HAZOP Bowtie Analysis etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
• UAE National (Emirati candidates only as per Emiratization requirements).

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of HSE management systems and process safety frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of industry standards like API NFPA OSHA and ADNOC safety guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
