Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Homeroom Teacher for a reputable school in Al Ain.The Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a supportive engaging and academically focused environment for their assigned class. The role involves providing instruction across various subjects monitoring student progress and fostering the academic social and emotional development of students. The Homeroom Teacher will work closely with parents staff and administrators to ensure each child s wellbeing and success within the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management:
Establish a Positive Learning Environment:
Develop a classroom culture that is welcoming safe and conducive to learning where students feel valued and supported.
Behavior Management:
Set clear expectations for behavior and maintain consistent routines and discipline strategies. Address any classroom issues fairly and promptly to maintain a focused learning environment.
Supervision:
Monitor student behavior during class breaks lunch and school events ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
Lesson Planning and Implementation:
Plan organize and deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as math science language arts and social studies. Ensure lessons align with the school s curriculum and academic standards.
Differentiated Instruction:
Adjust teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students including those with varying learning abilities or special needs.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback and adjust teaching strategies based on assessment results.
Use of Technology:
Integrate technology in the classroom using digital tools and resources to enhance learning and student engagement.
Student Development and Support:
Academic Support:
Identify students who may need extra academic support provide additional assistance as needed and collaborate with support staff to address learning challenges.
Emotional and Social Development:
Foster students socialemotional learning (SEL) by encouraging positive relationships conflict resolution selfregulation and empathy.
Monitor Individual Progress:
Track and document students academic and behavioral progress providing feedback to students and parents and developing individualized plans for improvement when necessary.
Communication and Collaboration:
Parent/Guardian Communication:
Establish open lines of communication with parents and guardians keeping them informed about their childs academic performance behavior and any concerns. Participate in regular parentteacher conferences.
Collaboration with Staff:
Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to student learning and school policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to schoolwide initiatives.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades behavior and any significant incidents. Complete required documentation and reports for school administration.

Participation in School Events:
Attend school functions extracurricular activities field trips and other events that support the overall development of students.
Supervision of Students Outside of Class:
Supervise students during school activities such as assemblies recess lunch and field trips to ensure safety and provide guidance as needed.
