We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to endusers troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems. This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and resolving technical challenges promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide firstlevel support for hardware software and networkrelated issues.
- Install configure and maintain computers peripherals and software applications.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
- Respond to and resolve technical support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Set up new user accounts manage permissions and ensure IT security compliance.
- Coordinate with external vendors for the repair and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage procurement when required.
- Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades and network installations.
- Document technical procedures and provide user training as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist Help Desk Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware operating systems and software applications.
- Familiarity with networking protocols routers and firewalls.
- Experience with IT support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problemsolving and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
