Our client a wellknown automotive spare parts firm is currently looking to hire an Accountant in Jafza Dubai. The ideal candidate have a strong background in accounting principles financial reporting and data analysis. Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing financial statements and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for month end close.
Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
Assist with budget preparation variance analysis and forecasting.
Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoicing collections and vendor payments
Responsible for VAT & TAX Calculation and submission.
Prepare and help in the requirements of Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) Submission.
Fixed Assets Managements.
Inventory Managements.
Assist with internal and external audits ensuring compliance with audit requirements and addressing audit inquiries.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision making by management.
Develop and implement accounting policies procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Stay current with accounting regulations standards and best practices and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the reporting Manager.
Requirements
To be considered in this role you need to meet the following criteria:
Bachelor s degree in accounting / finance or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Proficiency in financial reporting analysis and reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
24 years of experience in accounting or finance roles or similar roles preferably in the same industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices including GAAP
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude
Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
Effective Communication skills both written and verbal
Proactive selfstarter capable of working independently in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive financial information.
