Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading Events Company based in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Procurement Officer with experience in largescale events and budgets playing a key role in acquiring project and nonproject materials and services promptly and costeffectively.
Core Responsibilities:
Identify evaluate and source vendors suppliers and contractors for various event materials and services maintaining a comprehensive database.
Oversee the vendor registration process ensuring suppliers meet approval requirements and align with internal protocols.
Secure at least three quotations for comparison and negotiate contracts pricing and terms to achieve costeffective solutions without compromising on quality.
Create and manage purchase orders ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of materials for events.
Collaborate with internal teams to track budgets monitor expenses and identify costsaving opportunities.
Ensure that all procured goods and services meet required quality standards and comply with company guidelines.
Build strong relationships with vendors to foster longterm partnerships.
Oversee inventory management ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
Maintain detailed records of procurement activities contracts and all communications with vendors.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field.
23 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management preferably within the UAE events industry.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Strong communication negotiation and vendor management skills.
Detailoriented with a commitment to maintaining highquality standards in procurement.
Proficient in problemsolving to overcome procurement challenges and make informed decisions.
A team player with a collaborative attitude working well with crossfunctional teams.
Able to work effectively in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment adapting to shifting priorities.

- Min 3 years of experience in corporate marketing or event management. - Demonstrated proficiency in project management, with a minimum of one year of experience utilizing CRM or event-management software to oversee a high volume of events successfully. - Exceptional organizational and managerial abilities, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of complex projects. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders including vendors, employees, and C-suite executives. - Ability to maintain composure under pressure, making timely decisions while managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities. - Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within a team environment; experience with remote work is advantageous. - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, leveraging advanced tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. - Willingness and availability to travel occasionally for events (1-2 events annually), demonstrating flexibility and commitment to achieving organizational objectives.
