Accountant shot JD
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing monthly financial closing generating balance sheets and profit & loss statements. Ensures accurate account reconciliations revenue recognition and asset management. Assists external auditors manages corporate tax filings and enhances internal controls. Coordinates ICV compliance handles petty cash and verifies employee expense claims while supporting payroll deductions.
Qualification
Batchlor degree in Accounting Finance or Business
Indepth understanding of International Accounting Standard (IFRS)
Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Excellent English spoken and written skills.
Advanced knowledge in accounting systems (e.g. SAP QuickBooks etc)
Minimum 05 years experience in a similar field/ position.

Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS and company policies. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile the accounts including but not limited to accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and taxes.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of annual audits.
Prepare and review tax returns and filings ensuring compliance with federal state and local tax regulations. Provide support in corporate tax assessment and filing.
Coordinate with the consultant for the improvement implementation and maintaining the strong internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning cost reduction and business growth initiatives. Provide recommendations based on financial data analysis.
Oversee the monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
