Purchasing Officer

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT hardware software and ELV components to ensure costeffectiveness quality and timely delivery
  
• Identify new suppliers and technologies to enhance our ICT and ELV offerings
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and ELV suppliers negotiating contracts terms and pricing agreements
  
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
  
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and department heads to forecast procurement needs for ICT and ELV systems
  
• Create and maintain procurement plans and schedules to support project timelines and budgets
  
• Monitor and control procurement costs for ICT and ELV systems identifying costsaving opportunities and implementing costreduction initiatives
  
• Conduct regular price bench marking and analysis to ensure competitiveness
  
• Maintain accurate records of IT and ELV procurement transactions contracts and supplier communications
  
• Generate reports on procurement KPIs performance metrics and cost savings for management review
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Purchasing officer or in a similar role with at least 3 years of UAE experience in ICT and ELV procurement
  
• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field. Master s degree is a plus
  Strong knowledge of procurement best practices sourcing strategies and contract negotiation techniques in the ICT and ELV domains
• Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
  
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g. ERP systems eprocurement platforms) used in the IT and ELV industries
  
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data identify trends and make datadriven decisions in IT and ELV procurement
  
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g. CSCP CPSM) is desirable
