What youll do:


The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing implementing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency quality and safety.

This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams


The key Responsibilities:

  • Project management / Project work for plant related topics
  • Responsible for achieving project deliverables under consideration of scope technical schedule cost and quality constraints
  • Prepare business cases prior project initiation
  • Design develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques continuous improvement initiatives and FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • Follow change management procedures
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products
  • Create article for new products in the ERPsystem on plant level
  • Maintain master data bill of materials and routings in the ERPsystem checks calculations on plant level
  • Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Create and maintains layout plans
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support standardized work definition as well as the workplace design under the consideration of MESH and LEAN requirements
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field (greenfield and industrialisation is advantageous)
  • 35 years experience within a similar position


Skills:

  • Comfortable with CAD MSOffice ERPsystems (SAP) LEAN and standardizes work (CItools knowledge)
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Digitalisation and automation project management experience would be a plus
  • Accountable teamwork Motivated engaged proactive excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in written and oral English (German would be a plus)
  • This role will require traveling (up to 50%)
