Solar Technician

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar Technician with a Civil background on Telecommunication Projects

As a Solar Technician Civil you will be responsible for installing maintaining and troubleshooting solar power systems used in telecommunications infrastructure.

Your role will involve working closely with our engineering team to plan and execute solar projects ensuring that all installations are carried out according to industry standards and safety regulations. You will be responsible for conducting site visits performing site surveys and preparing detailed reports.

Additionally you will be required to manage project timelines and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of solar installations.

Responsibilities:

• Install maintain and repair solar power systems used in telecommunications infrastructure.
• Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data.
• Perform site surveys to evaluate structural integrity and identify potential obstacles.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including design drawings equipment lists and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of solar installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar power system performance.
• Collaborate with engineering team to optimize solar system designs for maximum efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in solar system installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Familiarity with telecommunication infrastructure and power systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using solar energy analysis software and tools.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage project timelines.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
