Transplant Coordinator - Pediatric

Our client a leading semigovernment hospital is seeking a skilled Transplant Coordinator to join their team and enhance their pediatric transplant services. In this role your responsibilities would include but not limited to:

• Manage the entire process of pediatric transplant cases including patient assessment donor matching and scheduling of procedures. Ensure smooth coordination between various departments and teams involved in the transplant process.
  
• Provide comprehensive support to pediatric patients and their families throughout the transplant process. Offer guidance on pretransplant preparation posttransplant care and longterm followup.
  
• Oversee and monitor patient progress ensuring adherence to transplant protocols and clinical guidelines. Address and manage any complications or issues that arise during the transplant process.
  
• Work closely with surgeons physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective patient care. Facilitate regular team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transplantrelated activities and patient interactions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements hospital policies and accreditation standards.
  
• Educate staff and healthcare providers on best practices in pediatric transplantation. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team knowledge and skills.
  
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits related to transplant services. Analyze data and contribute to strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Nursing Medicine or a related field (required); Master s degree or specialized certification in Transplant Coordination (preferred). Western European qualifications or education are highly desirable.
  
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in pediatric transplantation with a strong background in coordinating complex transplant cases. Experience or education from Western European healthcare systems is essential.
  
• Excellent organizational and communication skills strong clinical knowledge in pediatric transplantation and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  
• Current and valid professional license in relevant field with eligibility for licensure in Dubai or the ability to obtain.
  
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  
• Willing to be based in Dubai UAE
