BIM Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage BIM models for structural projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural models into overall project BIM.
• Perform structural analysis and design using BIM software, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Create detailed construction documents, including drawings, schedules, and specifications, from BIM models.
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within BIM models to ensure constructability.
• Provide technical support and guidance on BIM processes and standards to project teams.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present BIM-related reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Tekla) and structural analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with project management and construction oversight is a plus.
