Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for engineering and construction projects.
• Prepare detailed electrical designs, drawings, and specifications using CAD and other design software.
• Perform electrical load calculations, system analyses, and feasibility studies to ensure optimal design solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Review and approve electrical designs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure electrical systems are installed and functioning as designed.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the engineering and construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other electrical design tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification
