Job Title: Social Worker (CDA Licensed)

Location: Dubai UAE

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker with a CDA (Community Development Authority) license to join our dynamic team at a Community Health Center in Dubai. As a Social Worker you will play a pivotal role in providing essential social services and support to individuals and families in need within our community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work excellent communication skills and a commitment to promoting the wellbeing of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and their families to identify needs strengths and resources.
  
• Develop individualized care plans and goals in collaboration with patients families and healthcare teams.
  
• Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and groups facing social and emotional challenges.
  
• Advocate for patients rights and assist them in accessing community resources social services and government assistance programs.
  
• Coordinate and collaborate with healthcare professionals community organizations and government agencies to ensure holistic care and support for patients.
  
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
  
• Valid CDA license as a Social Worker in Dubai UAE.
  
• Proven experience in social work preferably in a healthcare or community health setting.
  
• Knowledge of local social services government programs and community resources in Dubai.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  
• Excellent communication advocacy and crisis intervention skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
