The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all functions in the facility including materials management, quality, human resources, facilities, engineering and accounting. In this role, the Vice President will monitor and lead a group of individuals to execute long-range business goals, revenue strategies, operational plans and related business policies and procedures.
FUNCTIONS
1. Manage the plant operations to continuously improve Key Performance Indicators such as Safety, Quality, EBDITA, and S.
2. Report on planning, directing, controlling, implementing, evaluating, monitoring, and forecasting as needed to achieve budgets and cost of sales.
3. Review production costs and product quality and drive resolution of any issues.
4. Modify production and inventory control programs optimize profit.
5. Responsible for production goals, quality control and efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
6. Conduct plant meetings.
7. Review and approve capital projects.
8. Provide direction, development, and leadership to direct reports.
9. Conduct performance reviews on direct reports.
10. All other duties as assigned.
